G-Dragon is a rapper, singer-songwriter and producer of BIGBANG, recording under Galaxy Corporation with EMPIRE distributing. His single POWER in October 2024 was his first solo release in more than seven years, and his third full-length album Übermensch followed in February 2025.

Three weeks later, on 22 November 2024, he released HOME SWEET HOME featuring Taeyang and Daesung. It was the three musicians’ first joint track since BIGBANG’s Still Life in April 2022, and they performed it together at the 2024 MAMA Awards that month.
Both songs went on his third studio album, Übermensch, released on 25 February 2025 — his first full-length album in about eleven and a half years, after Coup d’Etat. The eight-track record takes its name from Friedrich Nietzsche’s idea of the ideal human.
In August 2026 he returned with Taeyang and Daesung as BIGBANG for the group’s 20th anniversary single BiiiG.

KAIST said on 5 June 2024 that it had appointed the singer G-Dragon as a visiting professor in its Department of Mechanical Engineering, for two years from 4 June 2024 to June 2026. On 9 April 2025 the university said it transmitted his track 'HOME SWEET HOME' into space.
BIGBANG joined the Coachella lineup announced on 17 September 2025 and played the Outdoor Theatre in Indio, California on 12 and 19 April 2026. The first set ran 60 minutes and 17 songs; on the second night G-Dragon announced a 20th anniversary world tour starting in August.
