He made the album while preparing for BIGBANG’s Coachella appearance the same year: “I’ve been incredibly busy this year. I was preparing for BIGBANG’s Coachella appearance while finishing the album at the same time,” he told The Korea Times.

In August 2026 he returned with G-Dragon and Daesung for BIGBANG’s 20th-anniversary single BiiiG and the world tour that followed.
