An Yu-jin and Jang Wonyoung open 'AN-YOUNG', an exhibition named after them

What happened

An Yu-jin and Jang Wonyoung opened an exhibition of their own. According to Newsis, STARSHIP Entertainment said on 26 August 2026 that the two were preparing the exhibition ‘AN-YOUNG IN SEOUL’. Bridge Economy reported that a teaser poster had gone up on IVE’s official social media the day before, on 25 August. The dates and the venue followed a week later: The Korea Economic Daily, citing the agency, reported on 2 September that the exhibition would run from 5 to 27 September at THE SEOULITEUM in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and that its full name is ‘AN-YOUNG: ANYUJIN x JANGWONYOUNG Media Exhibition’.

The exhibition opened on 5 September. Reporting from the venue on 11 September, Sports Kyunghyang wrote that STARSHIP Entertainment hosted it and that Creative MUT organised, planned and produced it. The same report said the exhibition would run until the 27th.

Sports Kyunghyang described the layout as follows. The ‘PHOTO GALLERY’ section at the entrance showed unreleased photographs from the two members’ shoots. Each member had a separate section, and each space carried its own ambient sound and scent matched to her. In ‘DIGITAL ZONE 2’, ‘MOTION MATCHING’ had the two members strike the same pose when a visitor gestured at the screen, and ‘BLOW INTERACTIVE’ set off soap bubbles or confetti when a visitor blew on a sensor. In the ‘VOICE MESSAGE’ space, picking up a handset played messages the two left for the fans who came. In the ‘GREETING HALL’, life-size three-dimensional holograms of the two greeted visitors, and in the merchandise zone, visitors who bought the photobook were offered a ‘hologram live photo’.

Why is it trending?

The name comes from the two members’ own names. Bridge Economy reported that fans call the pair ‘안녕즈’, a nickname made from those names, and Newsis wrote that the exhibition records that shared time. The two worked together in the project group IZ*ONE before IVE. The Korea Economic Daily reported that the exhibition would be built as a media-art space around the moments the two have met and the greetings they exchange, and that a personal photobook each of them helped shape from the planning stage would be shown there for the first time.
