Who are IVE?

IVE (아이브) are a six-member girl group under Starship Entertainment: An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo. The official site’s profile page gives the debut date as 1 December 2021 and lists the record of that day as the first single ELEVEN. The name means “I HAVE = IVE” — the debut record’s own page says so, and the Japanese official site’s profile describes it as a name carrying the resolve to show what they have, in IVE’s own confident way.

The members were revealed one at a time in November 2021. An Yu-jin came first, and the run went through Gaeul, Jang Wonyoung, Liz and Rei before ending with Leeseo. Three weeks after the debut the self-produced content 1,2,3 IVE opened the trainee days that came before it; Newsis reported on 21 December 2021 that the video showed the members taking vocal lessons and working through a trainer’s notes.

The official fan club is named DIVE. Reporting the first recruitment on 22 February 2022, Newsis wrote that the name comes from DIVE IN TO IVE, the chant the group calls before its official greeting. The Japanese fan club runs under the name DIVE JAPAN, and its terms of membership state that Starship Entertainment placed its operation with Amuse Inc. on 1 April 2022.

The records

The discography the official site lists runs to two full-length albums, four EPs and three single albums. The most recent record is the second full-length album REVIVE+, released at 6 p.m. KST on 23 February 2026. Munhwa Ilbo reported that it carries 12 tracks, including the double title tracks ‘BLACKHOLE’ and ‘BANG BANG’, with a solo track from each of the six members. Before it stands the first full-length album I’ve IVE of 10 April 2023, whose title track is ‘I AM’.

The six solo tracks stand on the album information at Bugs in the order ‘8’ by Jang Wonyoung, ‘Odd’ by Gaeul, ‘Super ICY’ by Leeseo, ‘Unreal’ by Liz, ‘In Your Heart’ by Rei and ‘Force’ by An Yu-jin. Read against the credits on the same page, four of them carry that member’s name as a lyricist, and ‘In Your Heart’ carries Rei’s in the composing credit as well.

Circle Chart holds the record of the release week. In the album chart for week 9 of 2026, covering 22 to 28 February, the record came second, and its sales that week were counted at 782,574 copies.

The stage

The second world tour, SHOW WHAT I AM, opened at the KSPO Dome in Seoul from 31 October to 2 November 2025. In the same report Sports Kyunghyang put the first world tour, SHOW WHAT I HAVE of 2023, at 37 shows in 28 cities across 19 countries, seen by some 420,000 people.

The Japanese leg ran to dome shows. Star News reported on 20 April 2026 that IVE had drawn some 79,000 people over two nights at the Kyocera Dome Osaka on 18 and 19 April, both of them sold out. The same report said a Tokyo Dome show was set for 24 June, that the new Japanese EP’s song ‘LUCID DREAM’ was performed there for the first time, and that the B-side ‘Jigsaw’ had been chosen as the theme song of a TV Tokyo drama airing in July.

North America ran to eight cities. Sports Kyunghyang reported on 13 August 2026 that the tour had taken in Toronto, Montreal, Newark, Austin, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle and Vancouver, and that the last show, of 27 songs, closed at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on 9 August local time. In Japan the group released the EP LUCID DREAM on 27 May 2026. Ten Asia reported that the Recording Industry Association of Japan’s July gold disc list, announced on 10 August, put the record past 250,000 units shipped and into its platinum column.

Away from the stage

The Korea Economic Daily reported on 2 September 2026 that the ‘AN-YOUNG’ exhibition by An Yu-jin and Jang Wonyoung runs from 5 to 27 September at The Seoullitium in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Each member’s own hosting and ambassador record is held by her profile.
