NMIXX's Sullyoon becomes Bioderma's brand ambassador, starting with the Atoderm Facial Lotion campaign
The French dermo-cosmetics brand Bioderma named Sullyoon of NMIXX its brand ambassador as it brought Atoderm Facial Lotion to Korea on 26 August 2026. Vegan News and BetaNews reported the appointment on 20 August, and the brand's official YouTube channel posted a campaign film with Sullyoon on 24 August.
What happened
Sullyoon of NMIXX is the new brand ambassador of Bioderma, the French dermo-cosmetics brand. Vegan News and BetaNews reported on 20 August 2026 that Bioderma had appointed her as it brought Atoderm Facial Lotion, the first face-only product in its Atoderm line, to Korea. Bioderma Korea’s official YouTube channel posted a campaign film with Sullyoon on 24 August in horizontal and vertical versions, and its description opens with the words ‘BIODERMA X SULLYOON’. Starting with this campaign, Sullyoon will take part in promoting the brand’s main skincare lines, including Sensibio and Hydrabio.
When and where
Bioderma said the product would go on sale in Korea on 26 August. It ran an exclusive pre-launch promotion at an Olive Young showcase for three days, from 26 to 28 August, with a live broadcast on Olive Young’s streaming service at 8 p.m. KST on the first day. The brand said the product was developed with Korean consumers’ skin and usage conditions in mind and is designed for dry, oily, dehydrated-oily and sensitive skin. The texture is a lighter ‘airy lotion’ with reduced oil, and Bioderma said a clinical test had shown improvement of a skin barrier damaged by physical irritation within 30 seconds of use. The same YouTube channel posted a second film with Sullyoon on 26 August.
Why it matters
This is not the first time a brand has put Sullyoon’s name in front. Sports Seoul reported in October 2024 that le coq sportif, the Descente Korea sports brand, had chosen Haewon and Sullyoon as the models of its 2024 FW campaign ‘SEE THAT’, and Aju Business Daily reported in June 2025 that Elizabeth Arden had released a Capsule Serum photoshoot with Sullyoon in the July issue of Harper’s Bazaar Korea, introducing her as its ‘muse’. What is different this time is that the brand itself used the word ‘ambassador’, and described the scope not as one product’s campaign but as promoting its skincare lines as a whole.
