ROMANCE : UNTOLD is ENHYPEN’s second full album, released on 12 July 2024. The title track is ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes)’, and it is the first record of the ROMANCE series. It is the group’s first full album in two years and nine months, since DIMENSION : DILEMMA.
BELIFT LAB’s album introduction on Bugs says the record tells of a boy who shares his love with a “you” from an opposite world and keeps meeting them while hiding who he is. The same text says the members took part across the lyrics, the music and the production. All of them wrote the lyrics of ‘Highway 1009’, their first fan song, with Heeseung credited on its production, and Jungwon wrote the topline of ‘Hundred Broken Hearts’. The physical album adds ‘Highway 1009 (Narr Ver.)’, remade with narration in seven languages.
Tanu I. Raj of NME gave the record four stars out of five on the day of release, 12 July 2024. The headline sums it up as “funky, sultry and incredibly addictive”. Raj read the members, who chose to give in to love across the BLOOD series, as now “choosing to walk into danger to save the one they love”.
The review finds the upbeat energy “surprisingly aplenty across ‘Romance: Untold’, in contrast to the gloomy vibes of the album’s teasers”. Of the closing ‘Highway 1009’ it says that “ending it on a personal note, thus, feels characteristically ENHYPEN”, and ends on the line “no matter the darkness that pervades their world, there’s always a sliver of hope”.
Raj grouped ‘Moonstruck’, ‘Hundred Broken Hearts’ and ‘Brought The Heat Back’ as “this trifecta of the best songs on the album”. On the opener ‘Moonstruck’, “sensual alt-R&B builds on a tantalising game of push and pull”. ‘Hundred Broken Hearts’ is “another old-school R&B-inspired banger”, and the review points both to its “relatively subdued arrangement” and to a conviction that “rings out in clear vocal delivery”.
‘Brought The Heat Back’ is a funk and dance-pop song on which the group worked again with the producer Cirkut, who made ‘Bite Me’ on DARK BLOOD. Raj called it “a funky dance-pop earworm”.
The title track ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes)’ was produced by the singer-songwriter JVKE. The album introduction says ‘XO’ holds both a kiss (X) and a hug (O). Bugs credits the lyrics and music to JVKE, ZVC, “hitman”bang, danke, ARMADILLO and Cho Yun Kyoung. Raj wrote that the song “encapsulates the feeling of cute, puppy love in all its glory, backed up by looping synths and chopped vocals”. The synth-pop ‘Your Eyes Only’ is “an immediate draw” in the review, which says it “almost feels like a coded exchange between the group and their fans, peppered with references to past discography and lyrics”.
Circle Chart counted the record number one on its album chart for week 28 of 2024 (7 to 13 July), with the Weverse and LP editions counted separately. The title track was 90th on the digital chart the following week. On the chart dated 27 July 2024 the record reached number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on Billboard’s World Albums. The same day the title track was 84th on the Billboard Global 200 and 53rd on the Global Excl. U.S.
Herald Business reported on 31 August 2026 that the record had reached number two on the Billboard 200 with 124,000 units, 117,000 of them pure sales. TenAsia listed it on 27 August 2026 among ENHYPEN’s double-million sellers and reported that its cumulative sales had passed three million. Soompi counted it among the group’s albums to sell more than two million copies in their first week.

ENHYPEN's eighth mini album THE SIN : BLISS sold 2,099,048 copies in its first week on sale, from 21 to 27 August. The count is Hanteo Chart's, released on 28 August. It is the group's fifth double-million seller, and all five domestic albums it has released in three years have passed two million.
ENHYPEN's eighth mini album THE SIN : BLISS is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated 5 September. Of its 98,000 album units, 92,000 were pure album sales, and it is the group's first time atop the chart since its 2020 debut.
