The song

‘Bloody Paradise’ is the title track of THE SIN : BLISS, the eighth mini album ENHYPEN released on 21 August 2026. It is the sixth of the album’s ten tracks, and the first title track the group has released as a six-member act.

BELIFT LAB’s album introduction describes it as a song that turns into a paradise the situation of two lovers who, through a crisis of pursuit and escape, see only each other. The same text says a deliberately rough, bursting attack was added to the kick drum and a distorted electric guitar texture laid over it, and names the genre as a Brazilian funk dance song. Etoday also reported that the song carries the message that even in a moment of dangerous pursuit, wherever the person you love is beside you is a paradise.

According to the track page on Bugs, the lyrics and music are by Ryan Curtis, Kalvin Beal, JULiA LEWiS and Gaeko. Sports Kyunghyang reported that JULiA LEWiS took part in producing three songs, this one, ‘Stuck’ and ‘Highlight’. The same article wrote that Gaeko of Dynamic Duo, a lyricist on the seventh mini album, also wrote lyrics for this title track.

Genre and choreography

Brazilian funk was new to most of the members. Sunghoon had worked with the genre first on his solo remix of ‘Knife’, the seventh mini album’s title track, and said that it felt fresh when the genre became the new title track. He described the choreography as built on large movements and picked out two points: taking hold of the T-shirt and turning the hips in the chorus, and a sweep of the hair. The album introduction also describes the choreography as built on steps, matched to the rhythm of Brazilian funk.

The stage came first

The song was on stage before it was released. ENHYPEN first performed it on 8 and 9 August 2026 at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan, on the domestic leg of the ‘BLOOD SAGA’ world tour. Jake told reporters that many ENGENE sang along to a song that had not come out yet.

The official music video went up on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel, and Soompi gives its release as 12 a.m. KST on 22 August. The album introduction says the video continues the story of ‘Knife’, the seventh mini album’s title track, and carries scenes shot in Peru.

Numbers

On release the song entered Bugs’ real-time chart at number one. By 10.30 a.m. KST on 22 August, according to BELIFT LAB, it was number one on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 13 regions, including Thailand, Argentina and the Philippines. On Circle Chart’s digital chart it placed 15th in its release week, week 34 of 2026 (16 to 22 August).

On Billboard’s charts dated 5 September it reached 32nd on the Global 200 and 12th on the Global Excl. U.S. MK Sports and the English edition of Sports Kyunghyang reported that the same week it entered the Bubbling Under Hot 100 for the first time, at 23rd.

CBC News and MK Sports reported that this sixth trophy set a new record for the group’s most music-show wins. The order in which the trophies came is set out in the story on the six music-show wins.

After

The song came out in other forms afterwards. On 26 August came ‘Bloody Paradise (English Ver.) Feat. Luísa Sonza’, with the Brazilian singer-songwriter Luísa Sonza. On 29 September came ‘Bloody Paradise x VELOCIDADE (PETERBLUE Remix)’, which weaves it together with SANTOS BRAVOS’ ‘VELOCIDADE’, and a visualiser went up on the HYBE LABELS channel with it.

The album’s sales and chart results are in the story on THE SIN : BLISS reaching number one on the Billboard 200, and how the group came back as six is in the story on ENHYPEN’s return as six. The previous title track, ‘Knife’, is on the seventh mini album, THE SIN : VANISH.
