ENHYPEN's THE SIN : BLISS Takes a First No. 1 on the Billboard 200
ENHYPEN's eighth mini album THE SIN : BLISS is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated 5 September. Of its 98,000 album units, 92,000 were pure album sales, and it is the group's first time atop the chart since its 2020 debut.
What happened
ENHYPEN’s eighth mini album THE SIN : BLISS has reached number one on the Billboard 200, Billboard’s main albums chart in the United States. Herald Business, citing the chart preview Billboard published on 30 August 2026 US time, reported that the album entered at number one on the chart dated 5 September with 98,000 album units in total. It is the first time the group has topped the chart since it debuted in November 2020.
Asiae set out how that total breaks down. Of the 98,000 album units, 92,000 were pure album sales, a figure that also took the record to number one on Top Album Sales the same week. Streaming-equivalent albums accounted for 6,000. The Korea Times gave the tracking week as the one ending 27 August.
The album at the top of the chart came out on 21 August 2026. It is the first ENHYPEN have released as a six-member act — Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-Ki — and, by BELIFT LAB’s own album page, a ten-track mini album with the title track ‘Bloody Paradise’ placed sixth.
Why is it trending?
This was the tenth time the group had entered the chart. Herald Business set out the run: ENHYPEN first appeared at 18 in May 2021 with the second mini album BORDER : CARNIVAL, broke into the top ten at number six with MANIFESTO : DAY 1, and has kept seven albums in a row inside the top ten since that record. Asiae counted 10 albums placed on the chart since the group’s debut.
The same reports listed the recent results. The 2024 full-length album ROMANCE : UNTOLD reached number two with 124,000 units, 117,000 of them pure sales; DESIRE : UNLEASH reached number three with 100,000 units in 2025; and THE SIN : VANISH reached number two with 122,000 units in January 2026. After two second places, this album took the top.
Sales at home sit behind the result. The Korea Times reported that, according to Hanteo Chart, the album sold 1.77 million copies on its release day, 21 August, and topped Hanteo’s daily albums chart, and that the next day it was number one on iTunes Top Albums charts in 23 countries and regions, including Brazil, Japan, Malaysia and Turkey. Asiae reported that Hanteo’s cumulative count passed 2.02 million by 27 August, making it the group’s fifth double-million seller.
Asiae and Herald Business both noted that ENHYPEN is the sixth K-pop boy group to reach number one on the Billboard 200. BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and TOMORROW X TOGETHER had topped the chart before it.
