The second chapter of the 'THE SIN' series, following two lovers who broke a taboo and chose a life on the run, with narration threaded between the songs so the ten tracks are heard in order.

The record

THE SIN : BLISS is ENHYPEN’s eighth mini album, released on 21 August 2026 at 1 p.m. KST. BELIFT LAB’s album page presents it as the second chapter of the ‘THE SIN’ series: two lovers who broke the ultimate taboo of vampire society and chose a life on the run face mounting threats and come to see that being together is the ‘bliss’ of the title. The ten tracks run in narrative order, from ‘Two Fools’ through the news-style interlude ‘Breaking News’ to the closing ‘The Veiled Truth’, with the title track ‘Bloody Paradise’ sixth.

It is the first album the group has released as a six-member act. Jay told reporters at the media conference the day before release that the record is a concept album whose narrative, lyrics and sound are connected, and that listening in track order feels like hearing a mystery show on the radio.

Reviews

Idology (아이돌로지) carried the record in its new-release column ‘Weekly’ on 24 August 2026. Kwibi started with the shape of the release, writing that “whether the intention is to let the music be enjoyed as music without the worldbuilding, this album, unlike the last one, was released in a form that carries only the ordinary tracks, with the investigative-report narration tracks on a separate album version alone”, and adding: “(I listened to the version with the narration, of course.)”

Among the tracks

The title track ‘Bloody Paradise’ is the sixth. BELIFT LAB introduced it as Brazilian funk, and the official music video went up on the HYBE LABELS channel.

The eighth track, ‘Checkmate’, is the hard techno track the same note recommends. The second, ‘Breaking News’, is the one BELIFT LAB describes as a news-style interlude, placed where the narrative turns.

Numbers

According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold 1,774,829 copies on its first day and topped Hanteo’s daily albums chart; Soompi counted it as ENHYPEN’s seventh album to pass one million copies on the day of release. By 10.30 a.m. KST on 22 August, according to BELIFT LAB, it was number one on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 23 regions, including Brazil, Japan, Malaysia and Turkey. Asiae reported that Hanteo’s cumulative count passed 2.02 million by 27 August, making it the group’s fifth double-million seller.

On Circle Chart’s weekly album chart for week 34 of 2026 (16 to 22 August), the record placed first with 1,704,166 copies, with the Weverse edition second the same week on 263,427.

On 30 August 2026, US time, Billboard’s chart preview placed the album at number one on the Billboard 200 dated 5 September with 98,000 album units. Herald Business reported that 92,000 of those were pure album sales, which also put the record at number one on Top Album Sales, and that streaming-equivalent albums accounted for about 6,000. It is the group’s first number one on the chart, after ROMANCE : UNTOLD and THE SIN : VANISH reached number two.
