Sullyoon took the mound at three ballparks between August 2025 and April 2026: the Oakland Athletics’ home game at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento on 1 August 2025 (local time), Hanwha Life Ballpark in her home city of Daejeon on 27 September the same year, and the Giants’ home game at Oracle Park in San Francisco on 6 April 2026 (local time). The last pitch was caught by Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants. Here are the three, in the order the clubs’ notices and the reports set them down.

1 August 2025, Sacramento: at the Athletics’ home

According to Sports Kyunghyang, NMIXX attended the game between the Oakland Athletics and the Arizona Diamondbacks at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento, California, on 1 August 2025 (local time). Before the game Lily sang the US national anthem, and Sullyoon, chosen as the ceremonial pitcher, threw the ball. Through her agency JYP Entertainment, Sullyoon said: “It was an honour to be given the Athletics’ first pitch. I sincerely thank the club for the opportunity, and the players who coached my throw so that I could do it well!” NMIXX performed ‘Love Me Like This’ and ‘KNOW ABOUT ME’ in the home team’s uniform, and the Athletics posted images of the day on their social channels. The game ended in an Athletics win.

27 September 2025, Daejeon: the mound at her hometown ballpark

According to Asia News Agency, the Hanwha Eagles posted a video on their official Instagram with the words: “27 September, NMIXX’s Sullyoon appears to throw the first pitch. She is pitching in her hometown, Daejeon, so let’s enjoy cheering together with the fans.” In the video Sullyoon announced that she would throw the Hanwha Eagles’ first pitch on Saturday 27 September, and said: “I’ll be there to cheer with the Hanwha Eagles fans that day. See you at Hanwha Life Ballpark on 27 September.” Sports Chosun reported that on the day, at Hanwha Life Ballpark in Daejeon, Sullyoon took the mound in the Hanwha Eagles’ orange uniform, with the players’ trousers and spikes, and wearing a glove. Before the pitch she called out “Hanwha, fighting!” to the crowd, and after it she joined the Hanwha Eagles players’ ‘eagle claw’ celebration.

6 April 2026, San Francisco: caught by Lee Jung-hoo

The Korea Economic Daily reported on 9 April 2026, citing an announcement by the agency JYP Entertainment, that NMIXX had been officially invited to the game between the San Francisco Giants and the Philadelphia Phillies at Oracle Park in San Francisco on 6 April (local time), for a pre-game performance and the first pitch. Sullyoon was the pitcher, and the catcher was Lee Jung-hoo, the Giants outfielder and captain of the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC) national team. Sports Kyunghyang added that Lee had captained Korea to the last 8 of the WBC in March. The Korea Economic Daily described it as Sullyoon’s second MLB first pitch after last year’s and wrote that she opened the game with a practised pitching form, and NMIXX performed ‘Blue Valentine’ after the pitch. The Korea JoongAng Daily also reported the pitch and the performance from the same game, and the San Francisco Giants posted the video of Sullyoon’s pitch on their MLB.com page.
