ITZY's Yuna's first solo album on the shop floor: a Lotte pop-up and a Baskin-Robbins flavour
Lotte Department Store ran a pop-up store for the release of Yuna of ITZY's first solo album at Kinetic Ground on the second floor of its Jamsil branch in Seoul from 24 to 30 March 2026. A day earlier, on 23 March, Baskin-Robbins put out a flavour made with Yuna.
What happened
Lotte Department Store ran a pop-up store for the release of Yuna of ITZY’s first solo album at Kinetic Ground, the K-fashion floor on the second level of its Jamsil branch in Seoul. Enet News and Business Korea reported that the pop-up ran for seven days, from 24 to 30 March, exclusive to the retailer, and Electronic Times reported on 25 March that Lotte had announced it.
According to the three reports, the pop-up moved the concept of the album Ice Cream into the room, and it sold six versions of the album along with photocards, key rings, T-shirts, scrunchies and bracelets. Visitors were given two postcards, and anyone who joined a social-media check-in event got a mini photocard key ring as well. Special photocards were handed out by amount spent and item bought.
Shim Kyu-min, a buyer on Lotte Department Store’s new-generation team, told Enet News: “We expect this pop-up store at Kinetic Ground, our K-fashion floor, to draw strong footfall around K-POP artists’ fandoms.” In the same report he said the company would widen that floor at Jamsil into a space for experiencing Korean content.
Why is it trending?
The day before the pop-up opened, on 23 March, Baskin-Robbins put out a Lessly Edition flavour made with Yuna. Job Post reported the same day that it had been planned to mark the release of her first solo album and its title track ‘Ice Cream’. Its Korean name is built from the first syllables of its three main ingredients: banana, berry and vanilla.
Hyundai Economic Daily wrote that Lessly Edition is a name made from ‘Less’ and ‘Edition’, a line in which Baskin-Robbins remakes popular products with lower sugar and lower calories. A Baskin-Robbins representative told the outlet: “To mark the release of Yuna’s solo debut song ‘Ice Cream’, we are introducing a Lessly Edition product with a fresh fruit flavour.” The same report said the brand was extending the line into block packs and shakes.
The music video for the title track ‘Ice Cream’ went up on JYP Entertainment’s official YouTube channel the same day. The record, the video, the collaboration and the pop-up all landed in one week.
