Yuna (유나) is a member of ITZY, the JYP Entertainment girl group. She released her first solo album Ice Cream on 23 March 2026 and played the top actress Yoon Choi in the tvN drama My Bias, My Boss.
Yuna (유나) is a member of ITZY, the girl group signed to JYP Entertainment. Xportsnews reported on 11 October 2024 that JYP’s casting team approached her at the 2015 KBS Song Festival, KBS’s year-end show, and that she prepared a song, a dance and a camera test, passed, and signed a trainee contract.
In the group’s third year, on 25 December 2021, she co-hosted 2021 SBS Gayo Daejeon with Boom and SHINee’s Key (Financial News, 28 December 2021).
Her first solo song is ‘Yet, but’, the ninth track on the January 2024 mini album BORN TO BE. On 27 December 2023, the day its music video came out, My Daily described it as a song Yuna co-wrote, built on a guitar riff and a synth sound that comes pouring out.
Her first solo album, Ice Cream, came out on 23 March 2026 with the title track and ‘B-Boy’, ‘Blue Maze’ and ‘Hyper Dream’. “I feel as nervous as I did when I first debuted with ITZY, but just as excited,” she told The Korea Times. Three days later she gave her first music-show performance as a solo artist, on Mnet’s M Countdown (Star News). Her acting began with tvN’s weekend drama Undercover Miss Hong, which premiered on 17 January 2026, where she made a special appearance as Hong Jang-mi, the younger sister of the lead character Hong Geum-bo (bnt News, Sports Kyunghyang). At the Ice Cream showcase Yuna called the drama “my first challenge in acting” and said she had “prepared as best I could so as not to cause the drama any harm” (Sports Kyunghyang, 23 March 2026).
In tvN’s My Bias, My Boss, whose casting Ilgan Sports reported on 24 November 2025, she played the top actress Yoon Choi. The drama ran from 3 August 2026 to its 12th and final episode on 8 September (TV Report, 11 September 2026), and in her farewell she said it had been “an honour to take on the role of Yoon Choi, and every moment with Choi was a happy one” (Ilgan Sports, 9 September 2026).
