Shinhan Bank released a new film for its Shinhan Nara Sarang Card featuring Yuna of ITZY on 14 August 2026. Yuna first appeared as the card’s model on 15 December 2025, and in between the first campaign passed 10 million views on YouTube about a month after it went up. What follows is one campaign across eight months, in the dates and figures the press reported.

December 2025: the campaign opens with a nickname for the card

Business Post reported on 16 December 2025 that Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Card had named Yuna the model for the Nara Sarang Card. According to the same report, the two companies had put a promotional film with Yuna on social media the previous day, the 15th. In it she shortens the product’s name to a four-syllable nickname and calls the card a must-have for enlistment.

The same outlet reported that Shinhan Bank had been chosen in April 2025 as the third operator of the Nara Sarang Card. The third operator runs the business for five years, extendable by three, for up to eight years in all. The 15-second film that went up on Shinhan Bank’s official YouTube channel the same day had 13,166,163 views as of 2 September 2026.

10 million views a month after release

Electronic Times reported on 13 January 2026 that the campaign, made by Cheil Worldwide, had passed 10 million cumulative views on YouTube about a month after release. Herald Business and Aju Business Daily carried the same figure the same day, and Cheil Worldwide recorded it in its own magazine.

All four wrote that the campaign plays the everyday life of men about to enlist as a sitcom and sets out what the card is for without a long explanation. Its spine is a background track that puts a melody to the shortened product name and the line telling men to have fun with it. Herald Business reported that the campaign was aimed at men in their twenties.

A Cheil Worldwide representative told Electronic Times: “We deliberately broke with the grammar of financial advertising, which lists benefits, and went for a creative that men about to enlist would find interesting straight away.” Around the same time Shinhan Bank ran an event giving a mini poster of Yuna to enlisting soldiers who took out the card.

August 2026: a second film and the Yongsan Station pop-up

Women’s News reported that Shinhan Bank had released a new Shinhan Nara Sarang Card film on 14 August 2026, featuring Yuna with the actors Gong Min-jung and Im Sung-jae and made by the production house Dolphiners Films. According to the same report, the film is set on its own shoot and follows Yuna as she is drawn further into the part. When Gong, playing the client, says the spot should carry respect for the country’s soldiers, Yuna offers to salute and calls out the soldier’s greeting, and Im, playing the director, points out that her hand is in the wrong place.

A Shinhan Bank representative told Fintech Times: “This campaign introduces the Nara Sarang Card in a light and unpredictable way while carrying respect and support for the soldiers of the Republic of Korea.” Digital Today reported that the bank would follow the main film with interviews with the three cast members shot on set, a military song music video built from the training scenes, and short-form cuts.

There was an offline half as well. Two outlets reported that a pop-up styled as a military supply store ran in the Yongsan Station concourse in Seoul from 14 to 20 August, handing visitors limited-edition merchandise made with Yuna. The advertising itself runs on Shinhan Bank’s official YouTube channel and on outdoor sites near universities and military manpower offices. The main film had 5,283,539 views as of 2 September 2026.
