Where a RESCENE Fan Chant Comes From

A fan chant (응원법) is the call fans have agreed on for a particular song. At a concert or a public broadcast the audience shouts it at fixed points in the track, and what is shouted, and when, differs from song to song.

Where the authoritative version lives differs from act to act. For RESCENE it is not a notice but a video: the official YouTube channel posts one fan chant guide per song, under the same title format each time.

This guide reads that series from end to end. There are nine, from ‘UhUh’ in March 2024 to ‘Pretty Girl’ in July 2026, and setting each upload beside its song’s release date makes the rhythm visible. The figures were checked on 11 September 2026. The words of the chant are not reproduced here, because no official source has published them in writing.

1. Where the chant actually lives

RESCENE’s fan chants live on the group’s official YouTube channel. They are not a document on the agency’s notice board; the guide for each song is a single video the channel posts.

The titles make the series easy to pick out. All nine use the same shape, as in 「RESCENE (리센느) ‘Pretty Girl’ 응원법 (Fanchant Guide)」: the act’s name, the song title in single quotes, and then the Korean word for the chant with its English label in brackets.

2. What the nine are

As of 11 September 2026 the channel carries nine fan chant guides.

‘UhUh’ on 27 March 2024, ‘LOVE ATTACK’ on 28 August 2024, ‘Pinball’ on 22 September 2024, ‘Glow Up’ on 5 February 2025, ‘Deja Vu’ on 2 July 2025, ‘Heart Drop’ on 6 November 2025, ‘Bloom’ on 25 November 2025, ‘Runaway’ on 8 April 2026 and ‘Pretty Girl’ on 9 July 2026.

The earliest is the guide for the debut song ‘UhUh’; the most recent is the one for the special single ‘Pretty Girl’.

3. Set beside the release dates

Five of the nine went up on the day the song came out: ‘Glow Up’ on 5 February 2025, ‘Deja Vu’ on 2 July 2025, ‘Heart Drop’ on 6 November 2025, ‘Bloom’ on 25 November 2025 and ‘Runaway’ on 8 April 2026.

Three followed a day later. ‘UhUh’ was released on 26 March 2024 and its guide came on 27 March; ‘LOVE ATTACK’ was released on 27 August 2024 and its guide on 28 August; ‘Pretty Girl’ was released on 8 July 2026 and its guide on 9 July.

Eight of the nine, then, arrived on release day or the day after. The guide is not something assembled after a song has settled: it ships with the release.

4. The one exception

One of the nine sits outside that rhythm. The guide for ‘Pinball’ went up on 22 September 2024, and that song was released on 27 August 2024, the same day as ‘LOVE ATTACK’. That is 26 days after the release.

So two songs released on the same day had their guides posted nearly a month apart, with ‘LOVE ATTACK’ first. This guide does not say why. No official source has given a reason.

5. There is a pattern in the hour

Read in Korean time, the upload hour converges as the series goes on. The guides for ‘Heart Drop’, ‘Bloom’, ‘Runaway’ and ‘Pretty Girl’ all went up at 7.59 p.m.

The five before them are scattered: ‘UhUh’ at 7.30 p.m., ‘LOVE ATTACK’ at 8 p.m., ‘Pinball’ at 1 p.m., ‘Glow Up’ at 6.30 p.m. and ‘Deja Vu’ at 9.59 p.m.

The four posted from November 2025 onwards look scheduled to the same minute; before that the hour was not fixed.

6. What the length is matched to

The nine run between three minutes 33 seconds and four minutes 39 seconds. The shortest is ‘LOVE ATTACK’ at three minutes 33 seconds; the longest is ‘Deja Vu’ at four minutes 39 seconds.

The rest are ‘UhUh’ at four minutes 18 seconds, ‘Pinball’ at four minutes 22 seconds, ‘Glow Up’ at three minutes 42 seconds, ‘Heart Drop’ at four minutes 34 seconds, ‘Bloom’ at three minutes 51 seconds, ‘Runaway’ at four minutes 19 seconds and ‘Pretty Girl’ at four minutes three seconds.

Every one of them fits inside the length of a song. That is what the running times say about the format: the guide follows the track from beginning to end, showing where each call belongs.

7. One song was covered a second time, live

‘Heart Drop’ has a second video besides its guide. The same channel posted a live stream at 12.48 a.m. on 7 November 2025, titled 「Heart Drop 응원법 강의 시간」, running 57 minutes.

The guide had gone up at 7.59 p.m. the same day, so the live stream followed that night. Unlike the nine, its title carries no song name in the series format and its length is not the length of a song. What is recorded here is only that one release had more than a single guide video.

8. Not the same thing as a light stick

A fan chant and a light stick (응원봉) sound alike in Korean but are different things. The chant is what is shouted; the light stick is the fandom’s official illuminated baton, waved at a performance.

What gets checked on site differs too. Of the six items the public broadcast fan club seat items notice requires, the second is a physical RESCENE light stick, and the notice writes no sentence allowing a photograph or a screen in its place. The fan chant appears nowhere among those six. The list is of things whose presence is checked, and a chant is not something to check.

9. Where these videos are used

A fan chant is used where there is an audience: for RESCENE, the public broadcasts a network records in front of a studio audience, and the group’s own fan concerts.

2025 RESCENE 1st FAN-CON [Project 326] was held at 2 p.m. on 9 August 2025 at the Grand Auditorium of Sungshin Women’s University Unjeong Green Campus. What it takes to get into a show like that is set out separately in the fan club pre-sale.

This guide asks no one to take part in either. It records where the fan chant videos are and how regularly they appear.

The words of the chant are not here. None of the nine video descriptions writes the call out, and the agency’s notice board carries no fan chant document. With no official version published in writing, this guide does not transcribe one.

Fan-made compilations of the chants exist, but none is used as a source here and none is linked. The authority for a fan chant is the video posted by the people who released the song, and the place to check it is always that video on the official channel.
